Quantum Foot and Ankle Group Welcomes Dr. Erick Benavides as Practice Expands Following New York Cosmos Partnership

Quantum Foot and Ankle Group, PC, a foot and ankle surgery and sports medicine practice in Bergen County, today announced that Dr. Erick Benavides has joined the practice. The addition follows Dr. J. Adrian Wright’s appointment earlier this year as the official foot and ankle physician for the New York Cosmos.

Dr. Benavides joins Dr. J. Adrian Wright and Dr. Alicia Kim in caring for patients at the Woodcliff Lake office and supporting Cosmos players.

Dr. Benavides earned his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he made the Dean’s List, after graduating magna cum laude from SUNY Oswego with a B.S. in Biology. He completed his surgical residency at Hoboken University Medical Center – Hudson Regional Health.

He has completed advanced training in foot and ankle arthroscopy through the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), and his recent research addresses the surgical management of ankle osteochondromas in patients with multiple hereditary exostoses. He is a member of ACFAS and the American Podiatric Medical Association, and is fluent in English and Spanish.

The practice treats sports injuries, heel pain, tendon disorders, arthritis, nail and skin conditions, diabetic foot problems, and performs foot and ankle surgery. Last year, Quantum expanded to two floors, including one dedicated to advanced imaging and sports medicine for professional athletes.
