Copado Acquires Valo.ai to Extend AI-Powered Governance from Release to Runtime

PR Newswire

Acquisition connects governed software delivery with production intelligence to help Salesforce teams manage access, identify risk and simplify operations.

NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Copado, a leader in AI-powered AgentOps for business applications, today announced that it has acquired Valo.ai, an AI-powered operational intelligence and governance platform for Salesforce environments.

The acquisition advances Copado’s vision of Governance Done Right by extending governance beyond software releases into the ongoing operation of enterprise applications. Together, Copado and Valo.ai aim to help teams understand application connections, manage access and identify operational risks, while building a foundation for AI-agent governance. Over time, planned integration will help teams move from identifying those risks to resolving them through governed, tested and auditable workflows.

For years, enterprises have invested in release management and DevOps to control how changes enter production. Yet once those changes are live, understanding what is connected, who has access, what has changed and where risks are emerging can remain difficult and time-consuming. Valo.ai gives Salesforce administrators and operations teams practical intelligence to address those challenges.

“Governance shouldn’t stop when software goes live,” said Ted Elliott, CEO of Copado. “For years, we’ve helped customers control how changes reach production. But once those changes are live, teams still need to understand what’s connected, who has access, and where risks are emerging. As AI agents become part of everyday operations, that visibility becomes even more important. Bringing Valo into Copado is how we begin connecting governed delivery with governed operations.”

What Valo.ai brings today
Valo.ai helps Salesforce administrators and operations teams identify connected applications, dormant integrations, excessive permissions and unused accounts. It also surfaces opportunities to optimize license usage and reduce administrative effort. Designed for minimal setup, the platform prioritizes findings so teams can focus on the issues that matter most. For example, an administrator can identify an integration that no longer serves a business purpose but retains access to Salesforce, review its permissions and determine whether that access should be removed.

Valo.ai was founded by leaders with deep experience building Salesforce security and platform technologies, including Salesforce Shield.

Connecting production intelligence with governed delivery
The acquisition builds on Copado’s introduction of Agentia®, which uses context-aware AI agents to automate software planning, development, testing and releases while maintaining enterprise governance and control. With Valo.ai, Copado plans to connect that delivery foundation with operational intelligence from production.

Copado plans to progressively integrate Valo.ai’s production intelligence into its development, testing and release workflows. The goal is to help teams turn identified risks into recommended changes, validate those changes through testing and deploy them through governed processes, with human approval and auditability throughout. Integrated capabilities will be introduced through a phased roadmap.

The acquisition brings operational visibility today and creates a foundation for broader governance capabilities over time:

  • Release-to-runtime governance: A path toward connecting release governance with production intelligence, helping teams understand the impact of changes after deployment.
  • Practical operational visibility: A simpler way for Salesforce administrators and operations leaders to understand connected apps, access relationships, inactive integrations and emerging risks.
  • Connected intelligence and action: Planned integration of Valo.ai findings into Copado’s development, testing, remediation and release workflows, with human approval and an auditable process.
  • A foundation for broader enterprise governance: Planned expansion into AI-agent governance and additional enterprise business systems over time.

“Joining Copado gives us the opportunity to bring governance and visibility to every stage of the AI and software lifecycle,” said Jari Salomaa, CEO and co-founder of Valo.ai. “As enterprises introduce more AI agents and applications into their business systems, they need to understand what has access to their data and how it’s being used. Together with Copado, we can help customers innovate with greater speed and confidence, while maintaining the control and visibility they need.”

Together, Copado and Valo.ai are working toward a future in which enterprises can move from identifying operational risks to resolving them through governed, tested, and auditable workflows.
